HOUSTON PRESS COVER
What's sll the fuss about?

July 16th issue of the weekly Houston Press featured a cover done by Uncle Charlie. The story on how national indie bands choosing to skip Houston all together. The cover, above, stirred up the conservative bees in the Houston area. Seems some folks took offense to the cartoon kid flipping the "bird". The paper recieved dozens of phone calls and complaints, some threatening arrest if the paper was ever delivered again.

Read a blog on the controversy HERE.
